The VillageScapes Story
VillageScapes, was originally founded in 2020 as Stewart Natural Landscapes by Matthew Stewart in Thomasville, NC. After serving northern Davidson County for a couple of years, Matthew and his family, relocated to Clemmons, NC. Greatly appreciating the rich history and traditions of the Village, Matthew decided to rebrand his lawn care company as VillageScapes.
Matthew started VillageScapes while serving as a public school teacher on a part-time business. After 18 years of service in public education as a high school math teacher, he continues to give back to his community as both an educator and as lawn care specialist.
He grew up in Davidson County on a farm and learned the importance of good soil in order to grow healthy plant life. Being outdoors and beautifying our communities brings him great joy and satisfaction. Above all, he understands how important family is and spending quality time with those you love the most.
