Welcome! My name is Matthew Stewart and I am the Founder and Owner of Stewart Natural Landscapes. I am married to my lovely wife, Kelly, and we have two beautiful children, Lillian and Benjamin. I am a former educator turned entrepreneur.  While teaching, I also coached baseball and loved being outdoors taking care of the field, so lawn care and landscaping were always second nature to me. Because I enjoyed the process of shaping a landscape so much, I decided to start Stewart Natural Landscapes in the spring of 2020 as a part-time job working for a handful of family and friends while I taught here in Davidson County. 

In the fall of 2020, the effects of the COVID pandemic began taking their toll on our family. My wife and I were without safe and reliable childcare and had to take action to keep them safe. We decided as a family for me to leave my job as a teacher, become full-time childcare, and take Stewart Natural Landscapes full-time as well. 

It has been my life’s passion to be a small business owner and here in the midst of a global pandemic, the opportunity arose. But more importantly, it has always been my calling to serve. As a teacher, I served many students and parents, working hard to educate them on their options in life. Here at Stewart Natural Landscapes, we will serve you by working equally as hard to find solutions for your lawn care and landscaping needs. I once heard a wise man say “when doing business, find someone who has the heart of a teacher.” Because we value you as a customer, we do not sell you on our services. We educate you on our services so you can choose the best option for your budget.
